A dinner was hosted by the Pakistani community in Korea in honor of the National Hockey Team.

During the dinner, a cake was also cut to celebrate the birthdays of Pakistan hockey team player Hanan Shahid and former international hockey player Waqas Zafar, who resides in Korea.

On this occasion, Shahzad Randhawa, Muhammad Ahmad, Mian Imran, Mazhar Shah, Aizaz Khan, Rana Saif, and Muhammad Awais from the Pakistani community said that hockey is still alive in our hearts. Our love for the national sport has not diminished. We still believe that we will soon regain our lost glory. Pakistan team securing the 11th position in the World Cup is clear proof that hockey talent still exists in Pakistan.

They also expressed hope that you will win the Gold Medal in the Asian Games and make all of us proud.

On this occasion, the Pakistani team management thanked the Pakistani community in Korea for welcoming the national team. The organizers said that the tour of Korea will help with preparations for the Asian Games.
They also expressed gratitude to Mr. Mueenuddin Wani, President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, for arranging matches against the Korean team.
