Pakistan  Hockey team head coach controversy

A three-match hockey series between Pakistan and Bangladesh will be held for the Pre World Cup Qualifiers. The 18-member national hockey team has departed from Lahore to Dhaka for the Bangladesh tour. Head coach Tahir Zaman has refused to travel with the team due to differences with the federation. Imad Shakeel Butt will be the team captain during the Bangladesh tour. The players include Andullah Ishtiaq Khan, Muneeb ur Rehman, Muhammad Sufyan Khan, Muhammad Abdullah, Hamaduddin Anjum, Abdul Manan, Moin Shakeel, Zakaria Hayat, Arshad Liaquat, Ghazanfar Ali, Rana Abdul Waheed, Ifraz, Abdul Hanan Shahid, Abdul Rehman, Rana Muhammad Waleed, Ahmed Nadeem, and Junaid Manzoor. The matches against Bangladesh will take place on November 13, 14, and 16.
