Naseem Shah Fined PKR 2 Crores for Breaching Central Contract Terms

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has imposed a fine of PKR 2 crores on fast bowler Naseem Shah for violating various clauses of his Central Contract and the PCB Social Media Guidelines. The decision was made by a three-member Disciplinary Committee after reviewing Naseem’s response to a show-cause notice issued on March 27, 2026.

Naseem had tendered an unconditional apology for his actions, but the committee found him guilty of breaching his contract. Additionally, his social media adviser has been terminated and will be blacklisted by the PCB.

The PCB reiterated its commitment to upholding professional standards, contractual obligations, and the integrity of the game
