Lahore is hosting Baba Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup

Lahore : The prestigious Sarsabz Baba Guru Nanak International Circle Style Gold Kabaddi Cup 2025, organized by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation and Fatima Fertilizer, has officially commenced. This three-day tournament will run from April 16 to 18, featuring teams from Pakistan, India, and Iran.
A press conference was held at a local hotel to mark the beginning of the tournament. The event was graced by the presence of Iranian team captain Ali Safari, Indian team captain Gurmanjit Singh, Pakistani team captain Kaleemullah Jatt, and representatives from the title sponsor, Fatima Fertilizer.
During the press conference, the captains expressed their dedication to promoting Kabaddi and fostering friendship and peace through the sport. Rabil Saduzai, Director of Marketing and Sales at Fatima Fertilizer, expressed his enthusiasm for sponsoring the event, emphasizing that the Kabaddi Cup serves as a platform to celebrate shared culture and heritage while supporting agricultural and rural development initiatives.
Rana Sarwar, Secretary of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, extended a warm welcome to the Indian Kabaddi team, highlighting the significance of international participation in showcasing Pakistan as a safe destination for sports. The Baba Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup is not merely a competition but a symbol of regional unity and camaraderie through the power of sports.
