Pakistan Rowing Team Achieves Historic Success at Asian Indoor Rowing Championship





Islamabad, June 1, 2025 — The Pakistan Rowing Team delivered a record-breaking performance at the Asian Indoor Rowing Championship 2025, held in Pattaya, Thailand from May 26 to May 31, securing 10 Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal — the highest ever tally by Pakistan in this prestigious continental competition.
Despite a limited number of athletes, Team Pakistan outperformed several established rowing nations including India, Iran, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan, earning international recognition and national pride.

• Asad Ali –5 Gold Medals
• Maqbool Ali –2 Gold Medals
• Wali Khan –2 Gold Medals
• Abdul Jabbar –1 Gold, 1 Silver Medal
