Pakistan Archery team performance in Asian Games,Hangzhou

At the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou, Pakistani archer Asrarul Haq captivated everyone with his exceptional performance. However, despite his brilliance, he narrowly missed qualifying for the Paris Olympics. Asrar-ul-Haq shattered his national record in Men Recurve 72 Arrows 70m Ranking Round with an impressive score of 634 falling just short of the required 640 to secure a spot in the Olympics.

Talented Asrar-ul-Haq expressed his satisfaction with his performance and vowed to enhance his game through hard work. He acknowledged that participating in the Asian Games provided him with valuable learning opportunities and he is determined to improve his performance. Asrarul Haq’s teammates, Archer Mohammad Nadeem and Idris Majeed, also delivered outstanding performances in Men Recurve 72 Arrows 70m Ranking Round. Muhammad Nadeem achieved his personal best with a score of 596, while Idris Majeed also reached a personal milestone with the 594 score.

In the afternoon session, the women archer Nighat Naheed will showcase their exceptional skills in Recurve women’s individual qualification round.

Moreover : Pakistan will play its Kabaddi pool match against Iran and  Hockey match against Japan.

In Squash events, Pakistan will face Japan, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Thailand and Qatar. In Women’s Singles, it will play against Hong Kong and Malaysia.

In Women’s single Badminton, Pakistan’s Ghazala Siddique will face Malaysia’s Jin Wei Goh. In double category of Badminton, Pakistan will play against Mangolia.

In the Men’s individual Archery competition, Pakistan’s Muhammad Nadeem will take on Japan’s Takaharu Furukawa. In another match Pakistan Israr ul Haq will compete Mangolia’s Gantugs Jantsan.

In the Women’s individual Archery competition, Nighat Naheed will take on Uzbekistan’s Ziyodakhon Abdusattorova.   The Indian women’s kabaddi team, two-time Asian Games champions, will play against Chinese Taipei today at 1:30 PM IST. Meanwhile, the seven-time gold medallists India will begin their men’s kabaddi campaign tomorrow against Bangladesh at 6:00 AM IST.
Teams are divided into two groups featuring a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, which will be bronze medal matches
