Fakhar Zaman two match ban appeal rejects

Fakhar Zaman’s appeal against his two-match ban for ball-tampering has been dismissed by the PSL Technical Committee.

The committee, comprising Professor Javed Malik, Dr Mumraiz Naqshband, and Mr Syed Ali Naqi, upheld the ban imposed by Match Referee Roshan Mahanama, meaning Fakhar will miss Lahore Qalandars’ next two matches against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United

The incident occurred during Lahore Qalandars’ match against Karachi Kings on March 29, where Fakhar was found guilty of changing the ball’s condition, breaching Article 2.14 of the HBL PSL Code of Conduct. He had denied the charge but was suspended for two matches.
