Fakhar Zaman Suspended for Two HBL PSL Matches Over Ball-Tampering
Lahore Qalandars opener Fakhar Zaman has been suspended for two HBL PSL matches after being found guilty of breaching Article 2.14 of the Code of Conduct for altering the condition of the ball during the Lahore Qalandars vs Karachi Kings match on March 29 at Gaddafi Stadium.
The incident occurred during the final over of Karachi Kings’ chase, prompting on-field umpires to penalize Lahore Qalandars five runs and change the ball. Fakhar denied the charge, but Match Referee Roshan Mahanama upheld the Level 3 offence after a disciplinary hearing.
This suspension means Fakhar Zaman will miss Lahore Qalandars’ upcoming matches against Multan Sultans on April 3 and Islamabad United on April 9.
