Noor Zaman Storms into Optasia Championships Quarter Finals

England, March 26 – Pakistani squash sensation Noor Zaman has advanced to the quarter finals of the prestigious Optasia Championships, England, beating World No. 14 Leonel Cardenas of Mexico 3-0 in the second round.

Zaman, ranked 31st in the world, dominated the match, winning 11-7, 11-5, 11-7 in 32 minutes. The victory secures Zaman a spot in the quarter finals, where he will face World No. 3 Diego Elias of Peru.

The Gold Event carries a prize money of $130k, and Zaman’s impressive performance has put him in contention for a podium finish. The Optasia Championships will conclude on March 29.
